The marvels of nature

A bunch of daisies?
Snowflakes?
Snowdrops?
or maybe hailstones?
Call it what you will
I call it a wonder of nature

Functional illiteracy...?

I've just come back from shopping. While putting goods to a carrier bag I noticed a slip of paper with a shopping list lying at my feet. I pick it up off the ground and simply couldn't hold back from putting this shopping list on my blog. I love half a kilo of something most!:)

Denver, the last dinosaur

Classic is the only word i think of to describe this show. It was one of the best cartoons being shown at the time. And this unforgettable theme tune!!! -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxGqS6ngvy8
Denver, the last dinosaur
He's my friend and a whole lot more
Denver, the last dinosaur
Shows me a world I never saw before
Everywhere we go we don't really care
If people stop and stare at our pal dino.
Creating history thru the rock n' roll spotlight
We've got a friend who helps us, we can do alright
That's Denver, the last dinosaur
He's my friend and a whole lot more
Denver, the last dinosaur
Shows me a world I never saw before.
What about your favourite cartoons?? Teletubbies?;)

Sports weekend

This weekend will be 'sports weekend' - today I'm going to a match Lech - Legia (the flow of adrenalin will be definitely increased), and tomorrow I'm playing tennis with my friend.

Ciao:)

Flash Mob

Yesterday I was in Stary Browar with my friend and when we entered the new wing of the building, we stopped short. About two hundred young peolple started screaming, making
sounds of gunfire and holding their arms in such a way to imitate shooting. People who were uninitiated into what was going on, were totally disorientated. I thought it was a kind of 'happening' but when I was surfing the internet, I came across a name: FLASH MOB. For those of you who want to find out more and to see a short movie from Stary Browar: link

What Do Women Want? by Kim Addonizio

I want a red dress.
I want it flimsy and cheap,
I want it too tight, I want to wear it
until someone tears it off me.
I want it sleeveless and backless,
this dress, so no one has to guess
what’s underneath. I want to walk down
the street past Thrifty’s and the hardware store
with all those keys glittering in the window,
past Mr. and Mrs. Wong selling day-old
donuts in their cafe, past the Guerra brothers
slinging pigs from the truck and onto the dolly,
hoisting the slick snouts over their shoulders.
I want to walk like I’m the only
woman on earth and I can have my pick.
I want that red dress bad.
I want it to confirm
your worst fears about me,
to show you how little I care about you
or anything except what
I want. When I find it, I’ll pull that garment
from its hanger like I’m choosing a body
to carry me into this world, through
the birth-cries and the love-cries too,
and I’ll wear it like bones, like skin,
it’ll be the goddamned
dress they bury me in.
